Fantastic facilities and mostly helpful staff and the student accommodation is good, but not the best. The main campus is spread between several different locations which are either in walking distance or have frequent transport links. Hourly transport links between the Main campus and Warrington Campus incase you need to undertake a course at the the campus you're not based at or are doing a combined course that means you have to travel between the two.

24/7 Library, loads of sport facilities, Art and Media have their own campus with lots of theatre/performance space. However, only 1 laudrette on the whole campus - this means one 8 washers and 8 dryers between thousands of students.

The uni gives you all the support you need (such as extentions, defferal and suspension of studies) if you need it as well as offering financial support incase your loan is sucked up quickly.

Good facilities and the SU Bar run great events.

Everything is within a 20 minute walk

Wide variety of clubs and societies such as the 'Rock Society' and the 'Quidditch Society'.

Careers and Employability run courses and awards to help boost your employability and you also undergo 'Work Based Learning' in your second year of your subject (if you are on a combined course, you get to choose your preference).

Catered accommodation is not the best. Having an en-suite is good but the kitchens smell bad (and have done since the day we moved in) and the food at White's (the main campus resaurant) is appauling.

The university of Chester was my first choice of university. After visiting both the open and applicant days I immediately fell in love with the university and Cheater city itself. After studying my first year at the main campus - Parkgate Road - I was then moved to the new Thornton campus in Ince. After everything has sorted out and started to settle down I realised that this was a great love as it has so much to offer for my course! The university of Cheater has so much to offer; it will enable you so many chances to meet new friends through its vast majority of sports and societies available to join!

The SU, and CH1 bar, is the number one place to be at the uni! Not only does it have very cheap drinks and offers and amazing Friday night out. It also helps with anything you may need at uni!

The university has its own dedicated website that offers to email you job openings in every topic area! In your second year, for work based learning, the staff will help as much as they can in order for you to gain a work placement!

I never stayed in University accommodation as I lived too close to campus. However, many of my friends lived there and I'm sure they would agree with how good they are.
