I think the facilities are great and generally at a high standard; the ask4help service is great as it's 24/7 help, its face to face or online or over the phone so you are always able to access the help desk; there are multiple people in my faculty I can reach out to for help or advice and I like how all faculty members have offices in the same building; when I had some issues and decided to take a 10 month break from study I found the support to be a little fractured and a lot of the teams I had to be in touch with regarding subject, financial support, student support, return to study etc didn't seem to communicate between themselves so I often found I was passed from team to team, but the individual members of staff were amazing and very helpful.

I would personally find the course easier to keep up with if there were more regular hours of contact time, as it would give me more short term goals to keep up with. Also if there were perhaps some mid-term assessments which would again create more short-term goals instead of having one distant one in the exam season at the end of the semester. I often find the seminar tutors to be more removed from the topic than the lecturer, probably because they teach multiple topics at once, however I find this to be disheartening and I enjoy the seminars much less when the tutor just 'shows up', covers the content and leaves, and I feel less inclined to attend these seminars. I always find the lecturers themselves to be enthusiastic however, and very helpful.

Close to the beach, close to the country side. Lots of train networks, you also have the metro available as a really reliable and helpful service that goes all over the city. It's a small city which means you get to know it really well and find your way around it very quickly. I often find that I feel really safe here where as in other cities I often don't. There are lots of different smaller neighbourhoods where you can find nice housing for different budgets.

The room, bathroom, kitchen and shared space quality was to a very high standard, however there was no parking available and the laundry was about £5 for a wash and dry cycle which I think is very expensive, especially if you need to do 1 or 2 washes a week.

Such a great university, and a great city! The lecturers are helpful and approachable, and the shop staff are great too! The buildings aren't the "prettiest" to look at from the outside, but inside they've really tried to make it a bright and interactive learning environment.
