Warwick has exactly the atmosphere I was expecting, only friendlier. There's so much going on all the time, across an insane number of societies. I never expected to be as socially involved as I have been, but it's been fun meeting people and going to events. The people running my accommodation are also incredibly nice, and have gone out of their way to make sure we are all comfortable, including specifically cleaning my door every week as I have OCD around cleanliness. The course is also fantastic and my lecturers are incredible (if you take CS at Warwick make sure to do functional programming in first year it's a great module) As for negatives, the amount of events and societies can be a bit overwhelming, you sort of have to get used to the fact that you will miss a lot. Other than that, my freezer keeps breaking and being unplugged etc. which has been annoying but it should hopefully now finally be fixed.

The lecturers! The lecturers are amazing. We also have great facilities, with several lab rooms. Plus, you can SSH into the machines so you don't even have to go in person unless you have a supervised lab. My singular complaint is that the seminars I've had so far have been horrifically awkward and felt mostly pointless.

Westwood specifically is kind of far away, but it's right next to a small shopping centre which has a Tesco. I do most of my shopping there, but there's also a supermarket on campus. This has made it easier than I would have expected to get groceries. The people at reception are incredible, they've been so accommodating of my OCD and have just generally been incredibly nice to all of us. Westwood has a cinema room. Everyone loves the cinema room. We also have various dwell rooms and study rooms which are kept in great condition and are really nice and useful to have.
