The University of Nottingham is considered a great place to study for several reasons. One of the main reasons is the quality of education provided, with the university consistently ranking highly in national and international university rankings. The university also has a diverse student body, with students from over 150 countries, which creates a vibrant and inclusive campus culture. Additionally, the university has a strong focus on research. The university also provides a range of services and support to students, including career services, counseling, and financial support. The university also has a wide range of societies and clubs, which allow students to get involved in extracurricular activities and meet like-minded individuals. the university could work on improving the availability of part-time jobs for students who are looking to gain work experience while studying.

As I joined my course during COVID, most of my first semester modules were conducted online. However, the rest of the semesters were blended.

The university itself is alright, it seems to be more of a party city than anything which is why the ratings for student satisfaction end up so high.

Unfortunately, I feel like the value proposition is missing on this course. You can teach everything you learn here on your own, for free, online. I don't necessarily feel like the rate they charge is necessary, especially when all of this course could be done remotely. I feel like instead of paying the tuition to learn all you're doing is paying to say "I got a degree", it doesn't feel like it's worth it.

Its close to the shops, gym, not a far walk from the uni. Its not technically university halls but worth mentioning. Wifi sometimes doesn't work for an hour or two once every few weeks, but its fast, no restrictions. Maintenance do actually do repairs here, which is nice. Second year room is longer and nicer flat than first year.
