Well-equipped labs and lots of support provided. Lots of socializing opportunities through societies and course group work. The university careers department offers good support for placements.

Good mix of blended learning with most days in class and Mondays online. Class schedules are well spaced out with sensible course content and hours. Lecturers promptly reply to emails, or I get quick replies from TAs.

On-demand heating is the best thing ever! Large well-equipped kitchens with prompt maintenance requests. Good social spaces and events throughout the week from the RAs. Located in the city centre, with lots of places only 15 mins away.

Queen's is a great place to study as Belfast is a very friendly city. There are lots of students that live in the area that Queen's is situated and all necessary facilities are nearby like a gym shops etc. The student support and guidance leaves a lot to be desired specifically regarding mental health.

The course provides a placement year which is great for getting into and experiencing the working world, also providing career prospects afterwards. Lecturers and teaching quality tends to be very good with some lecturers that really go out of their way to help if you're stuck, though there are some which aren't so great. Lots of facilities are available such as access to powerful desktops etc.

Elms was a very social place and was great for meeting new people. Overall it was a great place to stay. Lowish value for money as it was very expensive and probably moreso now, though may be worth it as it's very sociable and the cost includes WiFi, heating and electricity, though the heating was only put for an hour or two total each day so it was always freezing.
