The course has been very enjoyable so far and I feel as though I have been taught a lot. Support is always accessible whenever I have needed it and they have been super fast to help me out and effective. The location is very lovely, but, it is very hilly which is quite tiring on some days. The campus and it's facilities are amazing and really help to make the course something special. There is a lot of student life going on in and around campus with lots of student discounts being offered. I've not interacted much with the student union but from what I can tell and have heard, they are very good.

The content I have been taught has been very useful and great thus far but there are some areas that I think that they could touch up on / refine or add to make the course better. I also feel as though some of the lectures feel a bit too long and get nullified by other lessons that go over the same thing in a shorter time span but they are still very informative and interesting. Team working is heavily implemented into the course which is amazing as I have made many friends from different teams and it provides great experience of what actual game development entails. The university can help you find work placements and internships as well as career prospects post graduation which is great. The facilities for the subject are amazing and really help make the course what it is.

The location of Glasney View is right at the base of Penryn campus, giving you about 5-10 minutes of walking to get to lessons. The spot is very nice and efficient and has all of the facilities that you would need to access (campus shop, mail drop off, and laundry machines). I also stayed at The Sidings which is about a 15-20 minutes walk to lessons. The sidings also has mail and laundry facilities although the glasney featured better mail servies. There is also no shop in the sidings but it is a 5 minute walk to spar from it. The room allocation system is a bit rubbish as you are most likely to not get the choice you desire. You can always ask to change and you may find some success but if you don't, you can ask into the term and you will eventually be moved if you request enough (best to go in person for faster results from personal experience). The value for money for both glasney and the sidings are really good and I would happily stay at either of them again. I also felt very safe in both of them and the wifi was really REALLY good in both of them. The staff on both are on par with property management in terms of keeping things working and maintenance. However, they could be a bit slow at times depending on the importance of the maintenance. The sidings staff do NOT operate on weekends so if something breaks, you are pretty much toast till monday (or tuesday if it is a BANK HOLIDAY, believe me, that sucked). But overall, very good and would stay again.

Falmouth is an excellent place to study because it has excellent equipment for study, the courses are up to date with the real world and marketplace of study, student wellbeing services are understanding, accessible, and good and overall the courses are fun, practical and industry focussed. The University could have a cheaper campus shop and more societies.

The course is taught mostly through practical workshops and the occasional call on teams. Most of the time you spend learning is done in front of the equipment you need and is done through practical methods. It's really effective and there are always people on standby to help. The course hours aren't too intensive, approximately 12 hours a week for myself at the moment (February, 1st Year). However, you are expected to do multiples more work outside of the designated time. No more than fourfold extra however (60 hours total), a week. Typically it's less however.

A little on the expensive side but the location makes it worth it. The halls being directly on campus means that to get to lesson anywhere on campus it takes no more than about 7 minutes. The rooms are big and the kitchens are spacey also, with gas hobs and an entire fridge and separate freezer and a small fridge freezer too. Most rooms are double beds with massive desks and en suite. However, the shelf placement above the desk is frustrating for a monitor.
