its been tough in some areas mostly due to the online work however there all very supportive if you need help going as far to offer phone numbers to call outside of class if your stuck, however when I have been on campus its always been a fun and creative time.

when ive been able to go into uni the pc's and staions you work on are high end and can preform any kinda task need to make youe projects

i havnt seen much of this but this may be due to lockdown we have personal tutors which we have check ups with where they will awnser and questions and make sure your on track

currently due to pandemic we have one lesson a week in person and two lessons online

escape is linked with big studios across london many of wich come and do talks this can lead to lots of work experience opotunities and further contact in the industry

Learning the tools and techniques used within the industry has been amazing and brought me so far as an artist, also enabling me to develop speciality skills independently by introducing us to various learning resources and artists. Escape also has strong connections with the industry, meaning there are plenty of networking opportunities, as well as industry professionals being part of module feedback, meaning your work is in front of potential employers before you even graduate, which is very cool. The facilities are pretty great, with free coffee machines within the kitchen spaces on each floor, along with a microwave if you want to bring meals from home to enjoy at lunch, although I will say it has been somewhat often that some of the coffee machines have been out of order, although it's easier enough to just go to another floor, as I'm yet to experience more than one being down at a time. There are plenty of events and societies to join and enjoy. Two of my favourite societies are the Tabletop society, where I was introduced to Dungeons and Dragons, and the Esports Society, which has arranged and assisted with a number of gaming events at the uni, alongside the Student Experience Team or the Pearson College Student Association. Many of the PCs are very high spec, allowing students to complete hardware intensive work with ease, along with high-quality chairs and monitors, although I do wish the keyboards and mice met those same standards, rather than being the e-waste that you find in most schools and colleges, just down to ergonomics.

Talking about the course quality leaves me torn. The BA side (first 3 years of the MA) of my course is amazing and I've learned so much. The tutors are pretty helpful and even if their own experience cannot be of assistance (due to your own speciality in later years) they can point you where you need to go to find what you need. I cannot say the same for the 4th tutors for the Integrated MA. For the most part, I've found them rude, not to mention they do not know what the students have been doing during their time at Escape, which I think is pretty awful that your tutors on the same course you've been doing for the last 3 years have no idea what is taught on that course, meaning they cannot gauge your experience. Overall, the tutors are fairly easy to get hold of via email or Discord and are pretty quick to reply, so no complaints there. As for work placements and internships, the most I've experienced is Mock Interviews being set up, which I did find to be a great experience. However, no internships or work placements.

It's central London. It's likely going to be more expensive than you're used to. I'm not overly bothered by this as I live outside London and commute in. I can always bring in my own food, which means I avoid most living costs. Plenty of Public Transport, with connections between the city and where I live, as well as the underground and Bus Routes, as well as just simply walking the 3 miles. Take a camera with you. Plenty to capture on the route. My BA classmates seem to be finding jobs, so I'd say the Grad Employment Opportunites are pretty good. Some also work as Studio Assisstants for the Uni and some, like me, work as Student Amabassadors. I would say the uni is as diverse as it could be. Can't think of a demographic that isn't there to be honest.
