Overall, my experience with UOS and the people who make up my course on Games Programming has been very positive. The lecture's have always been engaging and very informative as well as purposefully staying relevant to our future careers as programmers. The lecturer's themselves have always been very quick and effective at providing any support or questions I may have within or outside a lesson/lecture. The UOS in general have also been a great help at solving any difficulties I have had although, thankfully I have had very little issues.

With restrictions in place it has been more difficult to use the facilities available but when we have been able to gain access to places such as the library, "computer lab's" and ect... I was presently surprised by the modern and capable equipment readily available as well as the cleanliness and welcoming environment UOS offers.

UOS in general is very quick to encourage students to join and interact with groups within the student union which can present students with like minded-people. In my experience, the social media UOS run's is usually full of tips and links to areas which can help provide support to all students for all ranges of financial, medical or wellbeing support.

Due to the impacts and associated restrictions from the spread of "Covid-19", our course timetable has been formatted using a form of blended learning structure where most of our weekly lectures have taken place online; with our longer more interactive "tutorials" taking place in person if restrictions allow of it.

While many of the staff and lecturers are inspiring and very much like family, by the end of the course. The system. Such as attendance, student finance, and support, need a lot more work to support students.

Some of the lecturers are amazing, understanding and supportive, however some lecturers are very self centered and disrespectful when it comes to students personal lives and situations

Within my course there is no real support in find work after we leave. And find part time work that functions around the changing timetables is hard for alot of students

Athena hall is a amazing place for socialising and getting used to life living by ourself. Issues with reception and delivery's are the only real issue I see with it
