I have had a great time at university so far, with understanding lecturers and a great group of friends. I feel like I can lose myself in my course and I am learning so much all the time.

The facilities at this university are fantastic. There have been comments from people in industry that we have it better than they do. In my school we have many computer labs with access to many pcs with different software on it, as well as machines with alternate operating systems such as Linux. We also have access to the motion capture lab with Cortex software.

The academic support is great, there is a wide range of resources for students to take advantage of with a really good library as well as online resources. All students have a personal tutoring system that makes sure students are on track with their studies and helps them get the personal support they need.

My students union is really friendly and runs tonnes of campaigns to help the students. I have been a part of quite a few clubs and societies while being at uni and I am now working for the students union as a Student Representative.

Middlesbrough has a bad rep but is actually really friendly and safe. I used to live near Brighton so it was a really big change to come to uni up here and the town has a really interesting character. Life is really cheap up here and there is a lot to see and do around town.

There's a large variety of clubs and societies and if there isn't one for you it is really easy to start one up yourself! I ran two different societies in the past two years here!

They are very knowledgeable and are from so many diverse career backgrounds you can get a wide range of information that will relate to you future career choices.

It's 10-15 minutes walk from uni but large, comfortable, quiet and relatively cheap :)

Great University overall, everyone is friendly helpful and supportive. Gave me some of the best education and experiences in my life. The teachers are very supportive and seem to be on a very 1 to 1 friendly level with students, the campus is brilliant and is upgraded regularly, giving feedback about course structure and facilities is actually listened too as well.

open 24 hr and is up to date to help me complete my work.

You can access any sort of support you need from housing, course related, finance, employability. They work well.

Always helpful and plan good events.

Middlesbrough surrounds Teesside University, it can be a scummy place, but it's nice small and everything can be reached nicely from clubs to shops, but it still lacks some things that a big city does.

Lovely clubs and societies that are friendly and fun, being in 2-3 different ones being competitive and for social events. Everyone is just lovely and really helps enhance me experience. Though funding can be increased sometimes to make them better.

Always willing to answer questions, give feedback and help with work. The course I am on is well designed and will help me in the future.

They give lots of job support lectures from CV building to portfolio to networking to help you get a edge above the competition and get a job.

Small, but it is cosy and you can make great friends there. good security too.
