The facilities at USW Newport Campus are brilliant - we have access to the latest technology and industry practices. However, the student life at Newport Campus is very dull - events rarely take place in Newport, and it feels like outside of the campus there aren't many student social interactions.

The course is taught in person which is great, however it does feel like the modules are so heavy on information that the course hours never feel enough. Contact with lecturers is possible, however it feels strange to only physically speak to them for three hours a week.

A brilliant site with well-maintained facilities, including lots of course-specific equipment available to students. It could be improved by an increased number of clubs and societies. As the Newport site is not the university's main site, there is a limited number of them.

The course covers a wide array of topics, ensuring that students have a varied education within the field of cybersecurity and digital forensics. The facilities for the course are perfect, with good computers and industry-standard software available at all times. The lecturers are passionate about their subjects and very knowledgable. The only drawback is that contact time with lecturers is limited, with first-year students only being in class two days a week. The course would seem to be more worth the money spent to be here if we had more time in class.

The staff are incredibly friendly, with at least one person manning reception at all times. The place also feels secure, with all residents requiring a key fob to access the building itself, the different sections of the building, your flat, and then your room. Fast internet is included with the rent, which improves on the already great value for money.
