Great environment and study facilities Lack of classes in third year has more cons than pros for me, I feel like i have a lot less support with my work this year

The people I lived with were rather messy and destructive, student support helped a little but not significantly

Its really lovely university! Hatfield isn't super exciting but I appreciate how close it is to London without being as expensive- I'm an animation student so I could take the day off to go to an animation festival in London- it was great :). The student union is also really cool: I'm in the boardgames society and they host all sorts of stuff three times a week. The downside is the two campuses are fairly far away from eachother- I'd like if the buses came more regularly so I could make better advantage of the facilities over there.

I love my course and appreciate how industry-focused and professional it all feels. The reason I chose it was the potential for work placements at Disney, Laika and Warner Bros and how upfront admissions was about employment prospects. The biggest downside would be that you have to pay for some of the course licences? None of them are required- you can do you work however you like- but there are a limited amount of certain software licences.

The wifi and ethernet in my flat are really shaky- often I'll call my friends and be constantly disconnecting. I really lucked out with my room though. I signed up to have a double room with a roommate- and just got the room to myself! I also appreciate how safe the campus is- theres a cool forest and a huge library and I can just go explore them at nighttime if I want.
