I love the campus and the people, it's a nice community. I'm not pleased with my department and course, I feel we are being treated unfairly in comparison to others. Late or no feedback, not very understanding in terms of late submissions or extensions, no academic help on top of that from lecturers. The labs are structured badly, half of the GLAs don't know the subject they are supposed to be teaching or there is no GLAs but hundreds of students, so many questions get left unanswered.

I've already stated in the previous question, but no support finding jobs or in academics. Never heard of my personal tutor and they never tried to help. The whole 2 and a half years were online while other courses with equal amounts of students had their lectures in person and the facilities and clubs were open.

It's a nice town but shops close way too early, no direct bus route to Uni from one of the most student populated areas outside of campus. You can find a good price for accommodation if you are lucky and look early. I haven't had too much trouble with jobs except during the pandemic when it was hard to get hired, but I've heard a lot of friends say it's hard to get a job in the beginning. It gives a feeling of being a student town which I enjoy, and in my area there's a bunch of students that live here.

It's so sociable and it was affordable when I was in my first year for being so close to campus. A lot of people felt intimidated by this accommodation because you share facilities with 15 other people, but I personally loved it, made so many friends and never had to wait for the bathroom or shower. Our RA was really engaging and she planned many outings together with other flats and activities so we could bond. We were good with resolving conflict, although sometimes the kitchen was messy but not nearly as messy as some others I've seen. Overall, I miss the experience.
