The lovely staff, lectures, the support provided for students which includes help with assignment, help with finances, and help with providing equipments for students in need. The friendly environment, studying rooms and the close distance from home.

The best part about this course is going out into placement, putting into practice all we have learned during theory. There is no bad/worst part about this course but I will say it is challenging, especially the theory part.

The catalyst is a great place to go and study and chill which I like. The lecture rooms in the cadman building near the back are terrible though as the seats are so far away from the desk so leaning forward really hurts your back, it would be better to have stand alone chairs instead of fold down ones like in a cinema. The course is pretty good. The societies are great, I’m in the re-enactment society which I found through going to staffordshire university and I have made amazing friends for life and really enjoy it so for that alone I’m so grateful to be a staffs student.

I hate online lectures, but the practical lectures are fun. We have simulation dummies which are very high tech and really useful to learn with, such as doing NG tubes and cannulation. We’re also able to do wound dressings as well and medication rounds as simulation at the university which is really beneficial to do before going on the wards. Nursing is tough but they make it bearable
