The lecturer made the unit more interesting , although sometimes I feel the standard quite high it is quite hard to keep up with. On the other hand, I didnt feel necessarily the Student Union's service provide much things.

Bournemouth Univerisity happens to be in what I consider to be the best area in England. Bournemouth is a seaside resort city and has a lot to offer all year round and especially during the summertime where you could enjoy the beach life and a lot of nature around the Dorset region. Bournemouth Univerisity's campus is very modern and offers a good student life with lots of student accommodations around and alot of events happens all year round. There is a range of facilities that the student can choose from and the student union has a lot of societies that you could join and participate in its events. I like that Bournemouth is not a crowded city yet there is still alot to do, and it offers a great setup for studying and focusing on work, and it is just 2 hours away from London by train, so whenever you get bored and want something different, London is not far away. My only comment to improve BU is to make it a hub for more social and cultural events that would attract people not just from the area but from all parts of England. Get involved in organising international conferences, film festivals, cultural and social events, and more which would open more opportunities to students to network and socialise on a broader scale.

The best part of my PhD is that I receive prompt feedback from my supervisors and an encouraging environment. Worse part is that it is very isolating.
