BCU has lots of amazing facilities they invest heavily in the media. Being on a media course this makes me feel valued as a student at the university. Allowing me to feel that this degree has many career paths for me in the future. However I feel the overall teaching and lectures could improve I learnt more at A level media then I have studying here.

I think accommodation in general is expensive. Jennens was one of the best accommodation to be in.

The university is a friendly and fun place to be. It's full of great opportunities and you can take time off and go in and use other facilities and make the most of the university building. The best thing is all the industry contacts and placement opportunities they push you to get. The only downside is the student union, but I am not really fussed with that aspect, because education is on point.

A great range of facilities ranging from giant green screen, massive tv studios, to engineering facilities etc. The only reason I have not given this 5 stars is because the lack of computers for all students.

Students are much more easier to talk to and get all the information you need. They're so helpful and even open up Facebook groups if you need any help.

I don't tend to go student union as it's another side of Birmingham, as the other part of the university has not made it's way to the city centre, and most events happen there.

Great night life and as Birmingham is the second largest city, there is so much to offer e.g. activities and cites, so you will never get bored. The German Market is also a must see!

So many variety of clubs and societies. Something for everyone.

The first time I started university i had seminars on "how to take notes" literally. I found this a waste of time, how do they think we got into uni? But overall, the fun modules are really helped and the fact the teachers have industries experience, they share their experiences with us. They are interesting and you learn a lot.

GREAT OPPURTUNITES ! Networking is a big push.

I live in Curzon Gateway a 5 min walk away from university. I feel really safe and at home. The reason why I have not given it 5 stars is because the price, which literally wipes out all my student finance and leaves me with barely anything to live on.
