They give massive support when it comes to assignment's as they want u to be the best person possible. What could be better is the new Blackboard. I find it very confusing and It's not numbered correctly, making it difficult to access the content.

I enjoy some modules in my course as I don't find it to complicated. Although structures is a good module, I feel like when I leave the lesson afterwards I feel very confused and I don't seem to remember anything that I'm taught. They do tell us to practice, but with other modules to study, I feel like there's no time to practice and I feel like it leads to burnout if studying for long

What I like most is that you get your own sink and it's not far from the buildings that u do your classes in. The flatmates are really lovely and nice and I feel there's a bond. However, while there is some upsides to the uni halls they aren't great. There's loads of issues sometimes every few weeks and the Wi-Fi buffers when u are watching videos. The rooms feels too small with a small gap between the bed and the sink and in douglas hall there is no proper gate before u actually enter the area. Although there is a security key fob at the front of the door halls, without proper consideration, anyone could access the halls without warning.

Best bits is meeing new people and bonding with others during the campus. The student union is fantastic and I am part of the students Council which makes it exciting. Some of the lifts are too slow and they either need maintenance because they sometimes out of service or don't close which makes it dangerous and time consuming

I love the course civil engineering. They do their absolute best to study and make it understandable for everyone to use. However some of my lectures could be improved as a PowerPoint slide containing information isn't really helpful when it comes to exams
