I have thoroughly enjoyed my University experience as a mature student I was worried I would not fit in but as the course progressed my confidence grew. I have come out with so many life long friends.

There was emotional support from a wellbeing team and also plenty of academic support from lecturers other staff and peers

Think the Union is great I didnt get involved as Im a single parent of three children and had very little time to spare

I didnt et involved much as Im a single parent and was very busy juggling everything but the younger students said the clubs and societies were very good

Commitment by the Lecturers to teach well and support with studies and progression to further study or employment.

This was a great degree! it was challenging and an in depth exploration of child development and childhood issues in a political and social context.Supported by a great team of lecturers! I came out with a first. Would highly recommend it!
