Tell us about your overall university experience so far.

I am loving it. Learning new things everyday, meeting new people and gain in confidence. I am looking forward to my journey over the next two years. I would recommend London Met to any potenial students.

Facilities

How good are your university's facilities?

The uni has a lovely library, with staff that are both friendly and helpful. We have a gym on site which all students can get access to. There are a few cafes located around where you can buy drinks and food.

Student support

How good is the support offered by the uni? Think both academic (tutors/feedback) and personal (counselling, etc).

They are so helpful with my academic work, happy to give feedback, etc. I have also used the DDA which is help with additional needs and the counselling services. Both are happy to help with any questions or concerns.

Students' union

What do you think of your Students' Union in terms of student representation and facilities?

They are very friendly but I have got involved because I have children and lots of assignment due which is taking up most of my time.

Local life

Is your university in a good location in terms of distance to accommodation and local amenities?

Same as I live in the same city I grow up in.

Societies and Sports

How would you rate the variety of societies/sports?

They have lots of clubs and societies but I am so busy with studying and children that I have not had the time.

Lecturers and teaching quality

What do you like most and least about the way your course(s) are taught?

Course leader are very helpful. The tutors teaching the modules are very knowledgeable about the subject.

Career prospects

How does your uni make efforts to increase your employability (careers department, work placements, transferable skills)?

I have work placement for the course I'm doing. We have job fair and support with application forms.
