The teachers provide a lot of support

The facilities are fantastic, the AG building allows clinical skills to be run in a realistic environment and the new super realistic patient dummy we use is incredible. The staff are extremely knowledgeable, approachable and all have different ways of teaching which allows all lectures and seminars to be interesting and engaging as no two days are the same.

The placements I’ve been assigned have really enhanced my knowledges and clinical skills, but the support from the lecturers within university allowed me to reach out when days were tough, helping me not feel alone. We started this course doing a mix of blended learning but currently have gone to full time on campus, it’s been great to be in person as the interaction within class is much better, the only downfall is the limited parking meaning attending in person can be stressful. As a mature student, with children , the only change I would put forward, is being able to access lectures that are on campus, online - when for whatever reason we cannot attend in person but are still able to join online.
