One of the best aspects of studying at Nottingham Trent is the social life, there is a wide variety of people that you can meet which just makes the experience more enjoyable. There is a great variety of clubs and societies to join too. Also the support I have gotten from staff is great, lecturers, tutors and support staff have been very helpful in the past and are very knowledgeable in their topics. I believe they have a lot of opportunities for students and have an great employment team. The buildings my courses are based in are nice and modern. The location of my course is in the City campus which is right in the city center making everything close which I love, however I know people who study in Clifton campus have said it is quite far but there is a bus available.

The way the content is taught is good. I really enjoy the content and the way that it is delivered. Lecturers are quick to reply to emails, friendly and I have had a positive experience with them overall.

I have stayed in Norton Court in my first year of uni and found it fun as I had a lot of friends there although it is reasonably far from the city center I’d say a 15 minute walk, about 5 of it is up a massive hill, and you can easily feel isolated from others as the majority live closer to the center. In my 2nd year I lived in Blenheim Halls which was better for location however in my experience less safe, in the first week someone staying at the accommodation got hit and had their wallet stolen right outside the accommodation. Both Radford (Norton Court) and St Anns (Blenheim) aren’t great areas of Nottingham. There are other accomodation available which are in the city center but are much more expensive.
