I think the university has put a good effort into considering students’ needs and adapting to them. Our students’ union is good. The students’ union provided assistance to us with running societies, finding a job, giving us spaces to socialise and more. The transition to online teaching has been hard for us and for our lecturers but they have communicated with us and worked with us to improve it anyway they can.

The SU has lounges and rooms to sit in and shops and restaurants to get lunch from. The SU and my department is well maintained.

There are different events and organisations or volunteer groups for us to use. There is a dedicated disability service provided by our SU and we are always given to chance to ask for / get extra help for the things we have to deal with.

My lecturers try to make our learning experience as best they can. They are always encouraging for us to ask them questions and give multiple means to do so, they are available to chat to in depth if we ask for a time slot.

The careers service helps with sessions on how to write a good cv and cover letter. My department holds lectures from alumni once per month which give us an idea of careers prospects.
