Nottingham is a very diverse city and provides international students like myself the opportunity to meet and connect with people from different backgrounds and cultures. The education here is phenomenal and the student experience is enhanced by the work of the student union. Playing sports at UoN is fantastic especially because of the great facilities that are offered.

My course is a very difficult course by nature. However the support we receive from the professors and the department is overwhelming. The facilities that are available to engineering students are more than enough and give every student the platform to excel in whatever they are trying to achieve.

Halls for me was a convenient place to stay because of the location. My course is very demanding and I don't have a lot of time to cook and commute to university. Staying in halls has definitely helped with that. The facilities are not bad although they can be better.

The course overall is very engaged, lots of learning hours and possibility and resources to do labs. Sports facilities are incredible. The free hopper bus, and regular buses and trams are helpful to get to and from the centre. The university location is perfect, a little out of the city but still close and easy to access.

Very challenging, sometimes lecturers feel a little detached and sometimes not able to gather whether their speed is right for the cohort.

The overall room, bathroom and dining situation is great. I was displeased to learn that the size of my room and all the other rooms in M block are a lot smaller than rooms in other blocks of the hall, even though we are paying the same price. However the location is perfect, easy to walk to lectures or sports events.
