The course is certainly not what I was expecting, it does not cover the topics that I was looking to study when I came to university. Although facilities wise it is a very good university to be at as it has a fantastic library, lots of labs and also computer rooms to work in. I love being in London as it is such a beautiful city and there is so much to do all the time. I am not a big fan of the students union as it is pretty boring and nothing really happens there. Overall though I enjoy being in London and know that if I work hard I will come out with the degree I want and find a job where I want to work. A tip for getting a place is to put down that you are applying to Cambridge as well, as it will make them realise you are a serious candidate who is willing to study very hard.
