You get to gain practical and applied engineering skills from every module. Studying chemical engineering at Aston covers every single aspect in the STEM major. You get to study and apply not only core Chemical Engineering modules, but also business management, economics, design, coding and even environmental science and renewable tech. Which will help you decide what you want to do/study after you finish your bachelors degree since you have experienced several aspects/modules related to the STEM major.

The lecturers are great overall. Very helpful and will guide you through what you need to do to achieve your desired grades. All lectures are recorded and posted on blackboard. You have the choice to have online or face to face meetings. The course experience went smoothly even with the pandemic.

Best aspects of the university life would be the sports clubs and the relation I have with my professors. The placement team is also very supportive and have helped me out a lot over the last year.

The course is brilliant and the lecturers are coherent and very approachable.

Birmingham is a lively and vibrant city with much to offer it’s student population. It’s very diverse with many cultures to experience.

James watt was very nice being located close to Aston campus. The halls and facilities were great and the people living there were friendly and welcoming.
