Love the collegiate system, allows you to get really settled in 1st year and be catered for so less to worry about. My degree is so flexible and allows for many opportunities, and Durham as a Student's Union has so many societies for every sort of student.

As a student who does a flexible Combined Arts course, I have had the opportunity to work with three different, but equally helpful departments with friendly, approachable staff. Some of the course has been different to what I expected and I would expect a bit more contact time on certain modules outside of lectures, but in general I am beyond pleased!

Good uni with a great reputation but where is £9000 going? Think the college system is fantastic because of the community and support system it creates. Durham is a lovely city to be a student in - not fantastic nightlife but a decent amount of shops, cafe's and restaurants.
