I like the library and the CSL, as they are comfortable spaces to study in with my friends and course mates. The SU is very lovely and the amount of activities and opportunities there are for socialising with other students are greatly appreciated. It would be nice if there was more access to information regarding events, but I do appreciate all the efforts put into hosting social activities and career networking opportunities.

I have really enjoyed the content we have learnt so far. As it if our first year, we are given mandatory modules to help us ease into the course. I am excited to pick which modules I get to specialise in for next year, but in the meantime we still have very interesting and engaging teachings. To improve, we have had lectures randomly cancelled with few make ups. As we already have very little contact hours (in comparison to other subjects), it would be nice to have more opportunities to engage in the course and with content. I enjoy the seminars as they are a great place to do this. Maybe instead of only having seminars biweekly (once every two weeks per module), we could have optional seminars within alternating weeks where the students who are eager to engage in the content can meet and discuss their opinions on the content and contemporary politics. As the seminars are mandatory, sometimes it feels like not everyone wants to be there and this can cause discussions to be a little lacking. The opportunity for an additional optional seminar gives the students who desire to speak and engage with one another an opportunity to do this with like minded individuals who share similar attitudes. Something like an optional forum.

I love my accommodation. It is the furthest Talybont from the main university buildings, so it is a bit of a trek. Regardless, I am very happy with Taly as a whole. I am grateful for the Social Centre, and it is convenient to be so close to the large Tesco. It is also nice to have lots of the sports facilities nearby. However, for the size and aesthetics of the kitchen and the bathroom, I feel like the price of the accommodation is a bit too high.
