Good first term. Has been slightly difficult settling into an entirely different university experience. The course is amazing and has created opportunities to socialise with coursemates.

Amazing. Central Square library is a little small but with so many other study spaces scattered around the city campus, it isn’t really an issue

It doesn’t seem to do much with postgraduate students and I know there’s been plans to remove the president for postgraduates.

Yes. My building is right next to Cardiff central and the centre of the city. A little far out from student areas like Cathays and Roath but it’s city centre location is too amazing to complain!

N/a. From what I’ve seen, there is lots of variety

Lots of contact time through lectures etc. The size group can feel quite intimidating having come from Penryn campus with Exeter and I feel the course would benefit from smaller seminar groups to properly understand the work

Yes, loads of work experience opportunities. Can be difficult to book in to see the same career advisor.

The facilities are good however the teaching style isn’t particularly interactive and relies heavily on self teaching.

A lot of lectures are pre recorded which is helpful when I need to rewatch something several times for it to really sink in

It is a good value for money especially when compared to other universities
