It is a great place to study location-wise because the university itself is not far from Newcastle City Centre and the accommodation that most students live in is nearby also. The university looks clean, tidy, and well-maintained with a variety of facilities available near the student's union. The staff are welcoming when I moved there and the communication between the university and student's is quick and easy. It is easy to gather information on student life, and support schemes such as mental health support and financial guidance. The university also has a good IT Helpdesk which is easy to contact considering most assignments, exams, and coursework is online-based.

The lectures, seminars, and workshops taught in-class are useful to cover the basic content for each module. These were taught well in person and it makes it easier to catch up if lectures are missed as recordings are uploaded online afterwards. This is good considering there could inevitably be days where lectures are missed. All the content we need to learn and module guides are uploaded on blackboard making it easier to keep track of how the course is structured and what needs to be learned. If content cannot be covered in the time-frame of lectures, video recordings are made and uploaded online; therefore, none of the content is missed. Exam information, course structure, module guides, and referencing policies are also made available which is good. Another good thing being that reading lists and extra material is provided online for us to look at. However, in lectures, the content is not covered in extreme detail which makes workload outside of university harder. I believe this not to be a huge issue considering the course allows one or sometimes two days free; therefore, allowing more time independently to study the content deeper. Having these days free is useful when it comes to revision for exams and availability of time to catch up if needed.
