In terms of facilities, LSBU offers a great range from library hubs, study centres, a sports hall, a cafeteria, a gym and much more. These benefit students not only academically but also socially. You can join a variety of social societies and clubs which help students find people of similar interests to them. This aspect of university is very important as it can feel like a daunting new experience at first, so making new friends and joining social clubs can really help in getting into the motion of things. Student support is also really great, the staff responsible for getting back to students via email are always efficient and give answers or direct students to where or who they need to ask for the answer to their questions. The campus at LSBU has improved drastically over the last year. There have been renovations and a new location for the library. The look and feel is modern, sleek and bright which greatly improves motivation to study as well as the ability to focus for a longer period of time. There are comfortable chairs and sofas also available which also attract students as they can feel 'at home' when studying. The location of the LSBU (Elephant and Castle) is somewhat lively but it lacks variety when it comes to food places and things to do. If students want to find more of a variety of food places and things to do, London Bridge, and Covent Garden are the nearest locations that would offer that. Student life can be improved at LSBU by creating more social events, such as, gatherings, dinners/ balls, trips, and parties. There are a few freshers parties at the beginning of each academic year but there is still a lack of social events where students can go just to socialise and make new friends. Students' Union can also be improved by encouraging more students to voice their opinions and experiences studying at LSBU and how they think LSBU could improve. This can be done through short surveys or ratings that students can complete efficiently.

As a Business Law student I have found the course to be very interesting and informative. The course content and modules in first and second year are core modules (contract, tort, EU, property, and public law) so are not always Business related, but in third year, most of the modules are business related (business, company, employment law, and the project). The 'business law' modules have similar principles and content which has been helpful in understanding the modules better and not losing track as when the modules are quite distinct it is sometimes harder to grasp the concept of each of them. The lecturers for the Business Law degree have been very helpful and good at explaining difficult concepts by simplifying them for students to have a better understanding. All teaching is onsite which provides students more of an interactive learning session where they can ask questions and get involved, something they may have been more reluctant to do if teaching was online. However, it would greatly benefit students if lectures were recorded as sometimes lecturers cannot be heard and students do not have the confidence to disrupt the lecturer to ask them to talk louder or students may miss a lecture due to interview or placement responsibilities so having the lectures recorded will allow them to catch-up in their own time. Tutor contact time can be improved as there are only a few sessions in the week where lecturers hold drop in sessions via Teams but they are on the day of lectures and are too close to the lecture which means that students cannot find a quiet place where they can comfortably talk, ask questions or concentrate as they would have to be on campus. The Business Law degree does offer a variety of work placements and internships but could improve by offering opportunities that are in central London as it would help students network more effectively as central London is the hub of all networking events and opportunities. Also, LSBU could improve by advertising these opportunities more effectively by having a specific folder or section in moodle that students can go to that have information only on work experience, internships and placements as sometimes the emails that are sent about the internships can get lost with all the other emails that are sent out daily. Finally, the Business Law degree could improve by providing more information to law students on the different routes they can take as a Business Law student through events or designated section on moodle where students can go specifically to find out more information. In addition, provide work experiences in the different areas that students can go into other than the generic solicitor or barrister route, so that students can gain hands-on experience for them to be able to then decide if they enjoy that type of work or not.
