The best aspect is undoubtedly the evening courses which creates for the student the choice to combine studies along with work. That said, the worst aspect is that the student support services should be much more intensive considering that if one works does not have time for example to write the perfect cv be his/her own.

I have the choice to do my course either online or in person which is always good when it is a choice.

There is a real mix in quality of tutors here and a level of inconsistancy. I don't feel as though all of the lecturers are on top of their game. The course is great though with good content taught at a good pace. The student union are helpful. There is no indictaion of where Birbeck ranks amongst universities - so it is difficult for potential employers to gauge whether we have a good or bad degree. It really helps that Birbeck are part of ULU.
