Northumbria University has many different opportunities for students to grow. For instance, there are many computing related societies for students to explore the many fields and specialisations of Computer Science. Northumbria University also has support teams for students who would like to increase their employability. There are specific portals and information sites on how to write resumes and cover letters, not to mention that students can make appointments with trained professionals for mock interviews for a job.

Recently, some of our lectures have been made into online lectures. This is especially helpful for home-based students since they would not have to commute to university multiple times a week just for a few hours. Every university student's unavoidable course work would be graded group projects. Our department helps each student in groups to get what marks they deserve by allowing us to rate our groupmates, which would then make up a part of the group project's grading.

Glenamara House is a good value for money considering the location of the accommodation as it is less than a 5 minute walk to the university. However, it may not be everyone's first choice as it is a shared-bathroom accommodation. The bathrooms would be shared among 6-7 people in the flat. However, it may be a really good experience if you are staying in the flat with a group of friends. The accommodation also uses a fob for entry access to the building, flat and room.

best - engaged and knowledgeable lecturers that clearly understand and care about the content worst - sometimes i find the content boring, but that is more personal rather than the general course content
