The campus gives a feel like you belong and doesn’t make you feel out of place. Coming from another country it, the college aspect for accommodation makes it better and gives a homey feeling. There are so many events that help get you included and there are events for everyone so you don’t get left out or feel out of place. Just wish there were more job opportunities on campus which makes it easier to get job instead of travelling to the job.

All the modules this semester have been fun and great for learning. The seminars and workshops are really inclusive and doesn’t put pressure on students with anxiety.

The room is spacious and nice. The bathroom is a bit small and it’s like a wet room which makes the whole bathroom wet though. The room allocation was good except for one part. I feel like they should put at least two international students on the same flat as if your the only one it gets lonely during holidays or vacations where everyone gets to go back but your just alone on the floor.

I think that studying at the University of York is a very wonderful thing. The campus wows me every time I walk through it and leaves me speechless. The course i’m studying is taught in a way which I think is very beneficial and I also believe that the teaching standards are very high.

The best thing about my course is the way that it is taught and the teaching standards. I have lots of contact time with them throughout the week and even if I have further questions that I haven’t addressed while in person, they do not hesitate to address them!

The location is the best thing about it. The rest of it is quite old and beaten down. Derwent College does have the worst reputation in the uni for sure!
