Good uni but the teachers love a good strike

Again the content can be slightly lacking

At first I had been told by my parents, family members and friends that university is not a place to be joking about and messing around, also alot of people saying that the first year's grades do not count towards the final which made me not to worry too much and trying too hard in making sure that I get at least a 2.1 but then when I actually started with lecturers and classes, I had been told that the grades in your first year may not count towards your final grade when graduating, however it does count in a sense that you will be more prepared when starting your second year. The first year is a prep and gives you a basic idea of what is being expected of you and shows you the weighting of the different assignments which means the effort needed to be put into in order to succeed and come out greatly. So do try to work hard in your first year as you wouldn't want to fall behind when starting your second year.
