Such a friendly and fun community! There are so many societies to choose from and they are the best places to meet others. The nightlife is always a blast and a great atmosphere. There is a variety of modules available and there is support throughout the university. There are opportunities for students to get jobs in the student union, and an employability team that really helps students secure placements and improve their employability skills. The only negative things I have are the university buses. If you live off campus the buses can be unreliable. It has led me to arrive late or miss lectures on some occasions. But luckily majority of the times I have made it to my lectures. Maybe leaving an hour before your lecture is the best option. Other than that, my uni experience has been amazing! :)

There is a variety of courses to choose from every year which is great. It is better to be taught in person but when lectures are moved online if needed, it is very well organised and can still be very informative. I personally haven’t been involved in work placements or career prospects as much as most, but I was offered a 6 month internship which was a great opportunity given to students. I have heard great things about the employability team from other students about how helpful and supportive they are to students when moving forward in their career. Lecturers always share their contact information and offer office hours each week for students to visit their office and raise any questions.

I had such a great experience in university halls. Bay campus is a new campus so the facilities are very new and well kept. We had cleaners in weekly which was great. I felt safe in the building as there were CCTV in the building corridors outside the flats, so you could monitor who enters the building block. Also you had to have a certain key card to enter the building. My least favourite thing was the location, it is a little further out than the centre of Swansea where most things happen but there are buses that can take you directly to town. But it is right on the beach so I can’t complain.

Fantastic. There is not a thing I would change about it. The University is great and with the new Bay Campus the facilities couldn't be any better. The city is brilliant for student life as everything is cheap and there is nothing better than a sunny BBQ down on the beach!

I have been fortunate and not required much support from the university however i know people who have and they sing the praises of the facilities and people available.

The SU is very good.

Swansea as a city if great. On a sunny day the Bay and nearby Gower are some of the most beautiful places in the UK. There is tons of things to keep you occupied outside of university and everything here is so cheap so you money goes surprisingly far!

The societies i have been involved in are all great. Its a great way to meet friends outside of your course, have fun and take a break from studying. There are a huge choice of societies so you can try something new to you which you may just fall in love with!

It is great for preparing for a job after university. The lecturers are always helpful.

Very, there are a vast number of opportunities to prepare for a job on offer should you chose to take advantage of them.

Very reasonably priced and of a good standard.
