Bangor is in a really beautiful area and is a great place if you enjoy going for walks or visiting cute little villages. Night life isn’t as good in comparison to a big city uni but once you find your people nights out are so fun - it’s not as bad as people say, boring people think Bangor is boring! Accommodation is really nice, definitely some really cheap options too. Lecturers are all very nice, in my experience, always ready to help with whatever. Student support is very helpful as well, always answer their emails quick! Really recommend Bangor, especially if you don’t want a big and chaotic uni city

My lecturer actually gave us more contact time rhen needed because he wanted to make sure that we understood the content. This really stood out because he sacrificed his time for our education, even though he didn’t need to. Personal tutors are always reminding people that they’re there to help with anything - academic and personal life - which really helps you settle in at Bangor. My course is really interesting with a wide range of modules to explore

My accommodation was a bit out dated in comparison to a lot of the others but a lot cheaper so can’t complain too much! Once you decorate your room it does stop looking so cold and prison like. Maintenance is really helpful and responds quickly when you have an issue. Same with the halls office, they answer emails within a day (in my experience) and sort out problems just as quick. Security is 24hrs and they do act quickly when you/they think there is an issue
