The overall experience has been good as I did get to go to labs in October which I enjoyed very much and I have had the opportunity to use the facilities on campus for studying. With lectures being online and the 2 lockdowns it made everyone intentional about checking on each other and not just in passing which is great. So there is still as sense of community here. Whilst a formal return to campus would have been great without direction from the government allowing it, the university couldn't have done so. So I'm happy that some facilities have remained open for us even if they are for studying purposes as you can still study nearby a friend which makes a massive difference to your mental wellbeing.

I think the facilities are outstanding, they are very accessible and caters well to neurodiversity.

There is always help available which is great and it is signposted well of the different support available.

Normally the course is in person with an average of 35 contact hours per module between labs, tutorials and lectures. However, these are now online with the exception of some labs.

There are many career fairs that shows us what jobs are available as well as meetings that can be booked yo improve your LinkedIn profile and the overall online presentation of yourself for the job market.

Best- cell biology. Worst - chemistry problem sets.

Best- flatmates. Worst- ground floor.
