I love studying at queens because my course is so much better than I expected. I also love the variety in societies etc and how they do a freshers fair and then after Christmas a refresher fair to give you time to settle and then try a new thing. The campus is filled with busy students and it just has this warm feeling about it, everyone heading to class or facing exam season together. There’s just this energy about the place. I think one thing the uni could improve on is a bit more advertisement about what’s going on and the different events…. I feel that if you don’t almost go looking for it you may miss some amazing opportunities. But don’t get me wrong, I would pick queens again in a heartbeat, if I had to do UCAS all over again.

My course is absolutely amazing. This year I am however in lectures everyday, but it’s quite nice as you finish pretty early and everything you’re learning is super interesting. All the lecturers are amazing, you can tell each and everyone of them are passionate about what they teach. One thing I really love about queens is how we get to see the body parts we’re learning about, it makes it all so real and helps you apply your knowledge. I also love the practicals you do, it just reminds you that the work your learning and doing is so real and important. I think if you’re looking for a course that’s more chilled, biomed is not the way to go. But if your someone who loves a challenge, and is willing to put the effort in then I’d highly recommend QUB

Its a very reputable university with a diverse student life, and very friendly students. The lecturers are very kind and knowledgeable which makes the learning process very fun. A possible way it could be improved is providing more resources in regards to exam preparation

The course is taught in-class this year which is something i really enjoy because it helps me concentrate better and learn in a more efficient way. The lecturers are also extremely skilled and explain concepts clearly and give time to students incase they have doubts. Although we dont have long hours of lectures every day, it gets a bit challenging on a few days when many lectures are included in a short time span

There are a lot of amenities provided in my accommodation that are worth the value for money that include a coffee bar, several events that take place almost daily, a gym and a 24/7 laundry room. There is also plenty of space for students to study or just meet with other friends which i really like. One issue i would say is that it is a bit too far away from university so its a bit inconvenient sometimes
