The university is located in the arguably the best city in the world, the diversity of students and facilities on campus are fantastic. Pastorally the uni could use some improvement. Personal tutors aren't really bothered about you, they just plan meetings to tick the box, many of meetings have lasted 15 minutes max. However I am speaking about my experience on a course with a huge cohort so other courses may be set up differently. Often you feel disconnected from your lecturers and can't access the correct support you would in a smaller uni. I accessed kcl disability and was able to receive an diagnosis for ADHD which the university has provided some support for. Overall I am very happy I chose King's.

The course post-covid is all in-person however all lecture content is also posted online, which is useful. The content is vast and you're given the opportunity to choose modules that interest you. The lecturers here are very valuable since they are experts and current researchers in the field so often speak on their own research and bring context to the topic. However there is a huge lack of support on this course and 0 help and review when it comes to your academic work, there is no-one to turn to. You can not just email tutors questions or organise to meet about some work like you would in other unis. I think this is because the cohort is huge, a lot of international students, which is not a bad thing however comes across exploitative. Feels like higher paying foreign students are given priority. I have not spoken to a lecturer until this year (final year) which is probably a mixture of covid and just disconnection from the teaching staff.
