Best aspect of the university is how diverse and welcoming everyone is and that also makes it a great place to study. It could be improved by inputting more study spaces in nicer places just to make studying more fun.

Best thing about the course it’s very interactive and you get involved with the lecturer and in seminars etc, I’d say contact with lecturers could be improved and course hours due to the fact every other Mondays I have 3 lectures back to back.

The people are friendly and the staff are easy to contact and talk to, the location is great too..

The teaching isn't that great, some lectures (chemistry) don't really teach, we're just expected to watch videos and go through old slides and learn the content ourselves. Other lectures do teach but go through the content really fast so we can do questions but I don't know how they expect us to do questions when we don't understand the content properly. The biology department however actually goes through all the content and also gives us quizzes to test our understanding and to make us more engaged. Another thing is that the maths tutorials aren't helpful at all, we sit in silence and do questions, we asked the moduke lead to speak to the tutorial teachers to make te tutorials more like lessons where we can work through the questions together and the module lead spoke to the tutors bit nothing changed
