It’s very good value for money. It’s also very quiet despite being next to the cathedral. The only poor bit is that despite being in an alcohol free accommodation there is still alcohol occasionally

The University of Surrey provides the students with an unique, complete, holistic experience. I don't feel as if I am deprived of anything at this university, be it in terms of my education or my extracurricular activities.

I am provided with the best equipment possible. Coming from a background where certain equipment was unimaginable, I am blessed to have the opportunity to handle the expensive equipment to aid my learning.

There is nothing that the union cannot do. They encompass and represent the needs of the students so whole heartedly that I don't feel as if I'm ever misrepresented. They host successful events as well as keep us informed on any changes in the management of the university.

Guildford is a lovely city with a good shopping experience and there are many activities surrounding the university. The night life isn't great but the union makes up for it by organising very good events.

The students are given the opportunity to start their own clubs and societies. As a result, there are many clubs and societies to choose from and I don't think that a single student at Surrey will not have found one to belong to.

The lecturers come from such diverse backgrounds and I feel that adds to my educational experience.

I don't feel like I have been told about what I can do with my degree later on or where I'll be able to work. I feel as if this is specific to my degree as most of the other students studying different courses have adequate information and therefore have occupational goals.

I currently live in Band D accommodation and feel as if I live in a hotel.
