Location is great, 20 minutes from Brecon and lovely landscapes etc. 20 minutes from Cardiff so get the city experience without being in the city. Lovely place to be outside, walk around, hike etc. Fieldwork and hands on experience of all courses is amazing with a wide range of assessments, little exams

Lecturers are amazing really passionate about their subject area. Fieldwork opportunities and practicals are fantastic. Mixture of self study and in class work, no online lectures other than pre recorded materials for independent learning.

It’s the perfect location which has all of the main necessities in walking distance plus a good student night life on and off campus. If you want to go into the city, it’s only 10 minutes on a train. If you’re an active person, there are plenty of walks, hiking trails in the mountains with awesome views over the campuses. There are also plenty of cycle trails and lots of options for extra curricular activities on the university campus. Student support is amazing through lecturers as well as additional support systems put in place such as the chaplaincy, unibuddy where you can talk to peers, library support and counseling if you need it. There are weekly activities to keep you social snd engaged outside of academic stress and there are two libraries on campus to suit your needs. Additionally between the campuses there are numerous options for food, including plenty of healthy options, vegan, and vegetarian. I really enjoy my time here

My course is in person learning, maximum of two days a week, however the lecturers are available Monday to Friday and have super quick response times. You’ll have plenty of support inside snd outside of the class room. As it’s a science course you get to spend a lot of time in the lab, which I throughly enjoy, and it’s a great way to develop skills for career development

It’s really good for the price given. Rooms are decently sized and you have an en-suite bathroom which gives you plenty of comfort.
