My one big piece of advice woul dbe that you dfinitely need to bring your won laptop as computers are not available all of the time. People at the university are in general very very helpful, the lecturers are all really nice, the food in any of the uni buildings is very very expensive though, be warned!!

if youre not local then it the best start to learning whats around you pretty quickly, it really helps to know where everything is early on so youre not wasting time finding your way around.. Also when meeting friends out of lectures the students union bar is a great place to meet up, fairly close to some of the main buildings bu t it is abit off centre
