This university has truly become my home for me. I have met some amazing people and have made some great friendships that I know will stay with me even past graduation. The uni has a great atmosphere that helps to keep you in the mind set that you are here because you want to study. But its not all hard work and studying, its also about having fun, living your life and finding out what sort of person you are and what you want to be.

There are several rooms filled with computers for our use, so there is always a way to get your work done even if your own laptop fails you. The library is amazing with easy to use search engines to help you find the books you need. There are quiet and silent study areas that are invaluable when exams are near and also board rooms we can use for group work without distracting other students.

Student support is always important. At Leicester each student in the Oadby Student Village has the number on their key ring to contact the Residential Advisers at any time, night or day. We can contact them for any reason, whether a neighboring block is playing music too loud at 1am or even if you just need a chat because you are feeling homesick.

Always eager to hear our views on what went well and how things can be improved. Have organised many great nights out for everyone to enjoy and have been able to give us some great memories.

I never went out before I can to uni and now I love it. Leicester has been a real world changer for me. Some places do amazing offers for a student night out and there are lots of places to eat or celebrate someones birthday. The Highcross shopping center is easy to access by bus or even by walking from the uni so shopping is never a problem.

Some of my best nights have been when out on a social, whether it is for a sport or for my course. They are a great way to get to know people better and to make new friends. There is always something on and they are affordable for us students.

My course has a good balance of hands on work and watching and learning. Most of the lectures are recorded for which we are grateful for when we are too ill to attend the lecture in person or when you simply want to re-watch the lecture to make sure your notes are all in order. We are always told how we can reach our lectures, whether it is through email or in person at their office.

The uni's reputation for success in finding a job after studying is highly reassuring. I'm confident that I will have something lined up for when I complete my course.

At our accommodation we are provided with evening activities such as pub quizes and karaoke nights. Yoga and fitness sessions are given for free to help us stay in shape. We have just about everything we need.

I like the O2 academy. Lots of effort has been put into my course, but the lecturers reuse old lecture materials and we don't get to choose modules. I think that Leicester uni has the best accommodation. It's close to everything and there are good bus routes. Beaumount Halls is also close to Asda. The gym and library have been refurbished quite recently, so it looks nice and new. There are lots of societies and clubs to chose from. The careers development is quite good. It has a wide range of staff and they take your needs into consideration. Uni Temp is flexible. I would recommend this uni because it has a good ranking (top 20). When you are writing your personal statement use your initiative and make you say why you like the course. But don't use the word passionate. I think its good to stand out.
