It is supportive and a lively campus especially for me as an international student. I feel welcomed into this university. Hopefully, the free bus trip could continue again once the situation is better in Dundee because it brings students to a couple of amazing places.

Now my course has been converted from online to in person so more interaction between lecturers and students.

University of Dundee is definitely a good place to study if you're interested in life sciences, the courses are all incredibly engaging along with experienced and understanding lecturers. Student life is quite good too, with multiple things on like parties or more calmer gatherings usually multiple times a week. However a few of the buildings around campus are definitely in need of an upgrade as their age is beginning to show, there has been the occasional issue with heating/air conditioning/computers not working.

My current course is taught entirely in person, which I am glad to report on as the previous two years have been almost entirely online. There are many ways to contact lecturers and they often respond incredibly quickly, along with the course hours being quite good, though there's a lot of time for independent study. Sometimes lectures can be one after the other in buildings on the opposite end of campus, and lecturers occasionally going over their time can hinder the chances of getting to your next class unless you can leave early. Lecturers themselves can vary with teaching quality.
