Some of the services could be improved, but overall I think Brighton is a great place to go, although there needs to be more communication and integration between campuses, or complete segregation as at the moment it is halfway in between.

Again, depends on which campus you are at. For instance, Eastbourne has a swimming pool, Falmer has an excellent gym, Moulsecoomb has a fairly decent library. Computers could be a bit faster though.

Luckily I've never really needed student support, but I know it is out there for those who need it. I've always been able to get the help I need from lecturers as well.

Greatly improved since I started 4 years ago. There are a lot of societies available now, however it is unfortunate that there are different SU services depending on what campus you are at.

I absolutely adore Brighton and will miss it so much when I graduate. You have a selection of clubs and bars in Brighton that are so easy to get to that a lot of unis, especially campus ones, miss out on. I've lived here for four years and I can still say I am nowhere close to having been everywhere. In addition there are a range of cheap options too.

There are lots of societies available, however you are limited according to your campus. My personal favourite is the self defence society.

Most lecturers are highly engaging and knowledgeable and respond quickly to emails and offer a large amount of support. However, there is sometimes a very long turnaround on feedback and a few hiccups with internal placements.

Never stayed in halls, but most rent prices are extremely high in Brighton for what you get.

Brighton is such a sick place..amazing ppl, amazing summer. But the uni lacks motivation and I quite dull. I reckon with the work being done, it will improve however I really think the lecturers could be more enthusiastic. It is a turn off to go into lectures that we pay crazy amounts of money for to watch a guy read words of a PowerPoint for two hours in the dullest voice I've ever heard. Then when you go to ask a question it's like you have offended them. Also big improvement for accommodation, it's embarrassing not having enough rooms for the amount of ppl applying

Wouldn't know really. In first year no help was offered to place me in accommodation even though I was coming from N. Ireland . There wasn't enough room in halls and when I asked for help they just told me to look on facebook.....all my housemates where the same, even international students. We ended up with a rubbish house in the middle of nowhere. The worst aspect of this uni in my opinion, disappointed to say the least.
