That everything is all on campus, all facilities are easy to use. Student life and union could be improved by having possibly more events on campus

Course content is typically vague, there are no abroad opportunities for my course too. I find it hard to contact lecturers and tutors and receive any response at all

Heriot-Watt is a great university with a genuinely beautiful campus located in the countryside. The only downside being a longer travel time to get there. However, there are great public transport options that travel to the centre of Edinburgh at regular intervals. The campus is relatively modern and has great options for walks between classes. In terms of academics so far I have found my course interesting and staff have been as supportive as possible.

There isn’t much marine biology in the first two years of the course, however, this changes into third and fourth year. The course staff are great and lab facilities are also really good.
