A good balance of opportunities provided by the University and the Students' Union. exceptional job prospects and professional development encouraged. University campus is well maintained and a lot of support is provided for the general health and wellbeing of students. The University also tries to be involved with events in Guildford and promotes helping the community.

A lot of 24 hour facilities available. Sufficient laboratories and library space.

A GP practice is on campus and a centre for health and mental wellbeing. Lot of support given by these services. The Sabbatical Officers within the Students' Union (especially Vice President Welfare) is also constantly looking to improve the support given.

The Students' Union provides fantastic opportunities for the students ensuring that they receive a good social experience whilst at Surrey and can be involved in union politics as well as extra curricular activities. A vast range of sports and societies exist at Surrey and currently there are plenty of places for students to eat, drink and socialise.

Smaller than some cities but Guildford has a lot to offer.

Great range of sports clubs and societies at Surrey, all very well managed by the Sabbatical Officers responsible for them. Personal development encouraged in terms of performance as well as opportunities being provided to run the sports club and societies by joining the committee.

Well taught and appealing to different learning styles. Not applicable to all courses but the majority.

Excellent job prospects due to professional training placements encouraged within undergraduate degrees. These placements improve the chances of students getting a graduate job. The University also provides masters' placements which are more research based, improving the chances of students going into further higher education and doing research based degrees.

Most of campus accommodation is well maintained and problems are fixed reasonably quickly. Mentoring offered for first years moving into the University campus for the first time and students are generally put together in housing base on their degrees/backgrounds and are hence, well matched.
