I think the studying facilities are really good. The library is good and I spend a lot of time in there. I’m not sure how it could be improved.

All of my teaching apart from 1 or 2 lectures last year have been in person. All the lectures I have come across are very nice and helpful.

All the rooms are very nice and really well equipped for someone to stay in. Maintenance was always good and quick if I needed it. The reception in the village was also really nice and the team there were always helpful

Some of the building on campus look a bit run down, in high contrast to the newer ones. The SU has a good variety of lunch options, but could do with more places to sit at peak times. The accommodation was fairly standard, with decent pricing for the older blocks/houses. A very multicultural university meaning there’s a group of people and/or a society/club for everyone, so it’s easy to make friends even if you don’t know anyone!

Pretty much everything has been in person, but also with recordings and lectures available online to catch up on missed content. Course hours sit at around 20 a week, some weeks are lighter than others. The open door policy makes it easy to ask questions if you want to, or if you’d rather blend into the crowd the course size is sufficient to do that. The content is interesting and challenging, and is great at setting you up for further education and/or industry.

A nice sense of community but quite far out from the uni with an unreliable bus service
