Naturally, being during the pandemic, my first year is not what I expected, but it was still an amazing experience, I’ve met great people, and the University and tuition is great. The campus is beautiful and has a decent amount available to do without needing to venture into the city.

Facilities are well refurbished and accommodation on campus is great. The university inside and out is clean and inviting and the campus environment is great! There’s great accessibility up and down the spine. Being a campus and having basically a small town of just students is a actually something I really appreciate. You know for sure that the people you’re meeting are like you.

I don’t personally need much help, but from people i’ve heard from, there’re some issues with respect to ILSPs and mental health support. Generally, the university seems good.

Contact is easy, between not only teaching staff, but also academic advisors and the department as a whole. Class began in 2020 with a blended approach, but the online classes are still a decent way of making up for the lack of in person teaching available.

The societies are great, and the department of languages+ cultures is amazing. Campus is very brutalist, it's much nicer being able to live in town from 2nd year onwards.

There are core modules on culture, involving studying books and films. Be aware this is a decent percentage of your mark.

Location was right next to the M6- constant noise pollution and views were t great. Apart from that, very nice quality but overpriced
