Despite having a large city campus and a lot of buildings which can seem overwhelming, NTU feels like a safe and welcoming place to be. There is a lot of student support available, course leaders are very helpful and understanding and we are provided with a lot of helpful resources. In first year during the pandemic it was fairly daunting and it was easy to feel alone but being assigned a CERT student mentor and being checked on by student reps made me feel like I was part of my course from my room.

The animation department has state of the art equipment and software that is industry standard and widely available to use. We are given a lot of options and freedom in what we choose to create while still being guided through the process. The lecturers are great and our course leader is really down to earth, always on hand and very helpful. I couldn’t recommend the animation course enough.
